We actually have very little in common. One of us is an English major, marketing professional and summa cum laude culinary arts graduate. The other is a Business major, flight attendant and mother to an amazing 10-year old boy. And the other is a Political Science major, corporate lawyer and caregiver to a wonderful 88-year old woman.

We live in different worlds, even in different parts of the world. But every chance we get, we come home to each other because we are sisters.

And every time, wherever in the world we would be, we would talk about starting a business together.

And then one day, Tudy came along. Or should we say that the paper dolls we spent hours playing with as children came back to us.

Paper dolls are simple toys that appeal to the imagination. They’re inexpensive, require very little storage and generate hours of fun. They’ve been with us for as long as there was paper, and people willing to put images onto paper. There is history, fashion and art in paper dolls.

We hope to reintroduce the paper dolls we loved as children to an entirely new generation of computer users. And we want mothers and daughters and sisters and friends to have the ability to use the computer and the Internet to create things together, yet step away and still have something to play with at home.

We also hope to bring Tudy to children who may not be as fortunate as most of us, and so for every one thousand subscriptions we receive, we commit to provide a free subscription to an orphanage or children’s shelter.
